Decorator's Techniques

HEAT TRANSFER

Heat transfer combines heat and pressure to transfer images onto garments. It is ideal for detailed prints, customization, short runs, and quick turnaround times.

DIRECT TO GARMENT

DTG printing uses inkjet technology with specialized water-based inks to print directly on textiles. It is especially effective for short runs, full-color printing, and reproducing fine details.

EMBROIDERY

Embroidery involves sewing designs, logos, or text onto garments using specialized thread. This technique adds a premium look and works well on heavier fabrics such as fleece.

Screen printing (or silk screening) uses stencils and ink to create designs on garments. It is the most economical method for producing large quantities, particularly on cotton or cotton-blend fabrics.

SUBLIMATION

Also known as dye sublimation, this method uses heat-sensitive inks to create full-color, photo-quality prints that last. Sublimation works best on 100% polyester garments.
